Bench Seat
With a nod to the industrial style, an aluminum panel was cut to fit as trim for the front of this bench seat. Because of the long length, the top is divided into three sections for easy access, attached in the center with a piano hinge. The two end sections just lift off.

Frame
I built this frame for my sister-in-law’s bedroom after seeing something similar at Joanne’s. There was a learning curve for me in trying to get two rectangles to be spaced perfectly together. Looked simple enough from the get go, but It took me a couple of tries to get it right.

Wall Craft Paint Cabinet
I love to organize stuff!! When it came to craft paint, I had collected quite a few and I didn’t want to have to stop and hunt through a bevy of containers when painting. This was repurposed from it’s original use as a command station next to my kitchen. It’s a simple box built around…

Plant Stand
This balcony plant stand came about when a neighbor needed a single unit for plants and gardening supplies to fit perfectly in her small balcony space. It’s a simple design that can be adjusted to fit just about any space for all sorts of uses.

Office Redo

I painted the room and put in new flooring to replace the badly damaged carpeting. Then I built a new larger desk, doweling a wood frame around a melamine top. The homeowner purchased…

Side Table
It doesn’t get any easier than this. The basket was a great inexpensive find at Ross. Unusual for this size basket. I just added a hardware store bought MDF circular round for the top. I planned on painting it, but I could have cut the round out of a scrap piece of plywood as well…
