My first renovation was under the front porch when I was five years old. I smoothed out the lumpy soil, lined the ground with newspaper, laid out my roller skates along with my softball and bicycle bell in a nice neat line, and voila…renovation complete!!! I’ve come a long way since then. Seventy-two years worth of painting, decorating, woodworking, crafts, and gardening. I’m newly retired now and settling in to spending my time doing the things I love, with most projects centered around woodworking. While working full time and raising my daughter, I slowly built my little wood shop, excited about each new project that required a new tool. I love to inspire other makers to give wood a try. Such a wonderful medium to work with!!! I hope you will join me on my mission to expand the DIY movement. Use your heart, your mind, and especially your hands!!
