I love to organize stuff!! When it came to craft paint, I had collected quite a few and I didn’t want to have to stop and hunt through a bevy of containers when painting. This was repurposed from it’s original use as a command station next to my kitchen. It’s a simple box built around two china-hutch doors pulled out of the trash. The glass was broken so it was discarded. Lucky me!!!
I loved the old brass hardware on the original china hutch, but they were badly stained and pitted. I painted them with silver spray paint and picked up a couple of inexpensive glass knobs to complete the pulls. One 4′ x 4′ sheet of masonite was just enough to cut out the two pieces replacing the glass. The small twistees that held the glass in place were still in tact, so they were reused. I painted one side with chalk paint and use the inside for sticky notes.
